From the Gut

by Silhouettes vs. The Sun

/

lyrics

Man wakes up rolls over and the woman next to him says "boy you're not good enough." "Whatcha tryin to say?"
He gets up gets dressed goes to work and the bossman says "hey boy you're not good enough." Now he gets no pay.
So he walks outside smokes a cigarette and sees a woman standing on the other side of the street, and she's singing his song.
She sings:
Go on and shout out just as loud as you can, ain't no body here listening. Even if they were I think they'd understand. Cause sometimes plans don't work out.
Every day is a maze can you make it through, without climbing the walls to get a better view? You can't see the end, so you scream.
And all your frustrations will cause devastation just let it out with a scream or a shout from the gut.

Go on and shout out just as loud as you can, ain't nobody here listening and even if they were I think they'd understand. Cause sometimes it just don't workout.

Come on everybody scream!
